The SCAD Museum of Art presents "Chaos Pacific," a series of monotypes created by internationally renowned artist Jedd Novatt. Unique marks left on each print, such as transparent blocks of color, thin lines and dark, bold shapes formed by printmaking rollers, reveal the evolution of each work's creation and, together, establish a complete narrative.
This exhibition displays the distinct construction process Novatt uses for his monumental sculptures, and complements "Chaos Concepción," a permanent installation that will be unveiled at 5:30 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017, in the SCAD Museum of Art Alex Townsend Memorial Courtyard.
