View Dendrochronological Data Sequences by Andrzej Zieliński, the 2016 Common Work of Art chosen to complement the K-States 2016 Common Book, Spare Parts by Joshua Davis. 

Andrzej Zieliński employs materials such as bronze, marble, and wood, known for their use in making tools and traditional sculpture, to create objects resembling computers and other contemporary machines. In doing so, he playfully connects technological advancement in prehistoric and ancient times to what technology looks like today. The sculptures remind us of how technological advances inevitably become obsolete with the passing of time. Like an abandoned garden that has outlived its use, they appear to come alive by evolving into something else.
