John Mallery is a fairly new print collector from Kansas City, who is a founder of a computer forensics company. His adventures as a husband, father, grandfather and art historian in training have provided him the opportunity to put together an amazing print collection. His collection explores the phenomenon of individual art collecting. The exhibition will invite the viewer to consider how and why some people curate a visual history of their cultural lives through art and what does the artwork we hang on the walls of our home say about us as people? This exhibition of prints also surveys the recent history of printmaking through the eyes of one collector.
