Exhibition Website

Mar 4 2017 - Apr 14 2017

Hundreds of artworks from Lancaster County students participating in two artistic competitions, Scholastics and Lancaster County Young Artists, will be on view at the Demuth Museum and Lancaster Museum of Art. These competitions, open to junior and senior high school students, celebrate the wealth of artistic talent found in the students of Lancaster County.

Scholastics is the first level of a national art competition. Exceptional works of art are submitted by hundreds of students to be judged first at the regional level here in Lancaster, with winning works moving on to the national competition. Works winning Gold Keys, Silver Keys and Honorable Mention will be on display in this exhibition.

Lancaster County Young Artists is a regional competition, open to any student attending school in a participating district or homeschooled. Hundreds of works were entered into this juried competition; works winning Gold, Silver and Exhibition awards in a dozen categories will be on display.
