This spring, the Wright Museum is once again partnering with the Richardson School and their four locations at Madison, Beloit, West Allis, and Brookfield. The Richardson School is a therapeutic day school for students who need specialized educational, behavioral, and social supports. When Richardson School therapist Sasha Spataro reached out to the Wright Museum about programming, they immediately saw the possibilities for Beloit College students. Winona Albano-Bachtell, was the perfect student to help with the 2017 edition of this show, as she is planning a career utilizing art as therapy. She is now volunteering at the Richardson School, assisting Spataro facilitate the therapeutic art sessions.
