Pulling from the Price Tower’s archive, this exhibit features Goff’s original drawings, various items from the home, paintings, personal photos, 3D animations and a fully interactive reconstruction of the Shin’en Kan conversation pit.
Shin’ en Kan was Goff’s largest and most luxurious house experimenting with materials such as onyx and gold leaf. Tragically the house was lost to a fire. Price Tower was tasked to preserve the remaining building fragments, architectural drawings, photos, films, furniture, and paintings which once were homed by Shin’en Kan. Several of these items are on view in this upcoming exhibit.
