Issei and Beyond: The Nakayama Family's Journey in the Mesilla Valley

Issei and Beyond: The Nakayama Family's Journey in the Mesilla Valley opens in the Branigan Cultural Center on Friday, February 3. 

Featuring artifacts such as funa dansu (a Japanese sea chest), a child's kimono, and original artwork, Issei and Beyond explores the story of a Japanese-American family who overcame adversity and made a name for themselves in Las Cruces.
