Between the Frames: The Frye Collection After 1952

This exhibition presents a selection of works that have joined the Frye’s collection since the Museum opened in 1952. Highlighting celebrated favorites alongside seldom-viewed works, Between the Frames provides a unique chronology of the Museum’s sixty-five-year history. At its core, this exhibition asks: why do museums collect, and how do collections help institutions evolve?
