Work in all media addressing contemporary challenges to our civil liberties, moral fabric, social compacts, political institutions, and environment will be considered by juror Harry Philbrick. Philadelphia’s Quaker roots give resonance to the phrase “Speaking truth to power.”
Work reflecting the conviction that the truth is beautiful, elusive, confounding, and eternally important will be privileged. The exhibition will feature works in a wide variety of media from artists living within 50 miles of the Museum.
