This exhibition of archivalia is held in conjunction with the opening of The Deering Family Galleries of Medieval and Renaissance Art, Arms, and Armor on March 20, 2017. The exhibition documents the acquisition of large private collections by the Deering family, the Palmer family, George F. Harding, Jr., and Martin and Carrie Ryerson.
