Re-embodied: From Information to Sculpture

Featuring Heather Dewey-Hagborg’s unnerving portrait sculptures based on DNA information extracted from materials that people leave behind (e.g. chewing gum or hair). 

Plus, Courtney Brown and Sharif Razzaque’s RAWR! A Study in Sonic Skulls builds upon scans of a hadrosaur to create a sculpture that allows participants to recreate the sounds of an extinct creature.
