Seeing Single Chanel Video

A new video room in the Mead’s renovated Fairchild Gallery is the setting for new video program, Seeing Single Channel Video, which launches with Peter Fischli and David Weiss’s enchanting video, The Way Things Go (1987). It follows a sequence of chance events that touch on the theme of Accumulations.

Additional videos selected by Amherst College’s Film and Media Faculty feature artists from Martha Rosler to Mona Hatoum and address issues from feminism to race.
