Visit the ongoing Conversations installation to see works from the permanent collection, recent gifts, and select loans. Currently organized in broad thematic categories of History and Myth, Religion Redefined, Gesture and Pose, and A Sense of Place, Conversations encourages connections between works created in disparate cultures and time periods.
Old favorites such as paintings by Lavina Fontana, John Frederick Kensett, and Alberto Pasini are joined by new acquisitions by Helen Redman and Purvis Young. This selection of objects aims to inspire dialogues and to establish new and dynamic relationships between important works in our permanent collection.
