An installation by Hickory, North Carolina native Brian Lackey of photographic prints, film projections, soundscapes and sculptural elements. The immersive
environment highlights the photographs alongside the artist's personal ephemera. The experience will evolve over time as visitors will be encouraged to be part of the exhibition; they are invited to let go of their past, by adding to the narrative through writing and releasing a memorial / elegy to their former selves.
The exhibition includes a rare body of work using Polaroid type 55 film taken over the course of 20 years involving one man, one camera, and all natural light; no spotting, toning, or Photoshop manipulation was utilized.
