1945 – PRESENT: Wood from the Collection

1945-Present: Wood from the Collection reviews the post-war rise of the Studio Crafts Movement. The elevation of traditional wood crafts into the realm of fine art is illustrated by works from acknowledged masters in the field. 

 Artist’s responses to the sensual warmth of wood range from objects of contemplative reverence for the material to transformations of whimsy and fantastic imagination.
