Portraits of American leaders, figure paintings, African kings, presented by The Portrait Institute in association with Portraits, Inc.

John Howard Sanden has been, for five decades, one of America’s leading portrait painters. The list of his sitters reads like an index of American history and achievement of the last half-century. For forty-seven of these years, the artist has been represented by Portraits, Inc. — widely recognized as the premier portrait gallery and brokerage in the country.

The exhibition includes selected portraits of American leaders (including President George W. Bush and evangelist Billy Graham), figure paintings, and a group of paintings from two visits to Africa, including state portraits of African kings.
