Shakespeare’s in the Alley: A Tribute to Bob Dylan

Shakespeare’s in the Alley pays tribute to American icon Bob Dylan. Recipient of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature, songwriter and performer Dylan has had a brilliant career for more than half a century. Door County artist Skye has created a text-based installation that honors his creative genius. The lyrics of some of Dylan’s best-known songs are reproduced on large banners hung throughout the museum’s atrium. The content of the words combines with the visual hangings to create an immersive spatial experience.
