Sebastián: The Geometry of Space and Time examines his artistic practice in relation to mathematical concepts and their overlap with his designs and sculptures. He often combines the brilliant colors of Pop art with the abstract forms of minimalism and are at the same time gestural and emotionally expressive.

Sebastián (born Enrique Carbajal González on November 15, 1947 in Santa Rosalía de Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico) is a world renowned Mexican sculptor based in Mexico City. He is mainly known for his monumental structures, which are constructed from iron or concrete and exist in cities around the world from San Antonio, Texas to Osaka, Japan. His sculptural work is based in geometric concepts.
