Audubon Go

Exhibition Website

Oct 7 2016 - Feb 26 2017

Featuring images from the Museum of the Southwest’s Audubon Quadrupeds of North America collection, this Durham Children’s Museum exhibition is designed for visitors to explore Audubon’s artwork by collecting and constructing their own creatures. Guests can use a map of Audubon’s discoveries to investigate the exhibition and even design their own map of animals one might find while visiting different environments in Texas. Incorporating the recent “Pokemon Go” craze, visitors can also create art to be taken home by capturing creatures at Audubon stops throughout the exhibition, or add their own personal touch to an ever-changing community mural.
