On Site: Eko Nugroho

Asia Society has commissioned acclaimed Indonesian contemporary artist Eko Nugroho to create a new site-specific mural on the walls of the Visitor Center. The public is invited for a rare opportunity to observe the artist at work during his residency in the building from January 7 to 9. The mural complements Video Spotlight: Eko Nugroho, on view at the Museum through April 16, and the world premiere of his commissioned performance God Bliss (In the Name of Semelah), with his theater company Wayang Bocor, at Asia Society in January 2017.
