Exhibition Website

Oct 26 2016 - Jan 29 2017

Featuring a selection of color relief prints and pottery made in California and the western United States between 1910 and 1930, this new installation of recent acquisitions and loans from private collections complements the harmonious ideals of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Little Library, on permanent view at the Museum. With a beauty and simplicity that reflects respect for natural forms and materials as well as the value of the handmade, these pieces by Gustave Baumann, Frances Gearhart, Pedro J. Lemos, William S. Rice, and Van Briggle Pottery exemplify the Arts and Crafts Movement in America.
