"I have always used the making of art as a kind of personal journal, a way to reflect upon all the various components of the life I am living. For the maker of art as well as the viewer, art can provide a moment of self-reflection, can provoke a memory, can inspire a myriad of emotions, and can bring a sense of joy and wonder. " - Lou Storey
