The common thread that is woven throughout Tracy Boyle's body of work is the feeling of empathy.
"The animal lover in me can't help but project my own human emotions to the images I've attempted to capture. Painting with watercolors allows me the freedom to get the job done. I can be somewhat reckless and unrestrained. I must also accept the mistakes and stay focussed on tone and shapes. The details simply don't interfere. That's what I cherish most about the process." - Tracy Boyle
