Exhibition Website

Sep 17 2016 - Dec 11 2016

Artist Greg Carter considers himself a thing maker. His fanciful sculptures spill from the artist’s intense imagination and ability to perceive a character locked inside such common items as a flowerpot, twisted branch, or discarded pipe. Carter received bachelor of arts degrees in psychology and studio art from the University of Minnesota and a master of fine arts in studio art from Florida State University. His work has been shown in galleries across the South. He is currently represented by Adam Cave Fine Art in Raleigh, North Carolina. The artist resides in Raleigh and teaches studio art part-time at the College of Design at North Carolina State University.
