The Martin Museum of Art at Baylor University will feature TPS:25 The International Competition from the Texas Photographic Society.
Texas Photographic Society’s TPS 25: The International Competition, in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of this competition, the juror selects the work of 25 photographers for the exhibition. This year’s competition is juried by Rixon Reed, Founder and Director of photo-eye and Art Photo Index in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As Reed stated his focus on selecting works, “I want to feel the image emotionally, and I want it to be smartly done.” The exhibition offers a wide variety of photographic styles, processes, and subjects.
