Art of Valerian Formozov: Visions of the Russian Heartland

The solo exhibition of Valerian Formozov’s paintings is part of The Museum of Russian Art’s Russian 20th Century Masters series, featuring more than forty paintings by the artist. The exhibition provides a broad view of the artist’s remarkable painting oeuvre. Inspired by the Russian countryside, Formozov’s works reveal a unique artistic vocabulary.
