Lester Schwartz: After 1986

The Rahr-West is pleased to present 'Lester Schwartz: After 1986,' with assistance from the family of Les Schwartz. The exhibition celebrates one of Manitowoc's great artists and the healing power of artwork. Featured artwork profiles Schwartz's journeys, both physical and emotional, following the death of his beloved wife in 1986. 

Bold imagery and color dominates abstract and figurative work during this prolific late period of the artist's life.
