Vernon Smith: Cape Cod Artist & Artisan

A retrospective exhibition of the work of key artist in the history of Cape Cod art. A lesser known, but significant member of the Stony Brook Group, an influential regional director for the WPA’s Federal Art Project, and a modernist who was rooted in naturalist forms, Smith is overdue for this revealing installation of his work created from the 1920s through the 1960s.
