The People Speak is a special exhibit designed to showcase the incredible talent and artistic works of Native American artists from some of the many tribes located in the western United States. This exhibition reflects the strong presence and influence of indigenous peoples from the Southwest and represents the artistic and cultural traditions they have continually created and fostered, from prehistoric times to the present. It also offers visitors the opportunity to experience and share the artistic vision of generations of American Indian artists. From stone and bronze sculptures to Puebloan ceramics, beaded garments and contemporary glasswork, the museum offers this amazing look at the rich diversity of art forms, histories, and artistic styles that come from American Indian artists and their tribal traditions.
