Sep 23 2016 - Nov 27 2016

The Indiana Artists Members Exhibition is held at the end of every year at locations in Indiana. For the state’s Bicentennial year, the exhibit will be at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette. The Art Museum last hosted the membership exhibit in 2010.

Forty-six prominent artists living and working in Indiana founded the Indiana Artists Club in 1917. The original group includes such notables as T. C. Steele, William Forsyth, Otto Stark, Carl Graf, Wayman Adams, Marie Goth, Clifton Wheeler and Randolph Coats. The Indiana Artists Club’s purpose is to hold statewide exhibitions and demonstrations. Since its inception it has held the Annual Juried Exhibition every spring at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Exhibits of the current membership are composed of a wide variety of styles and mediums both contemporary and traditional. The annual membership exhibit and the annual juried exhibit is always a refreshing feast for the eyes. Most works of art is available for purchase during this exhibit.
