Latona Project: LGBTQI Senior Identity in the Art Museum

The Latona Project is a student-initiated collaborative community outreach project developed to examine the issues of changing LGBTQI senior identity within art museums. In a workshop series format Latona Project leaders sought to encourage LGBTQI seniors to understand one another and their unique, underserved identities in art museums via tailored guest lectures, art tours and art making at The University of Arizona Museum of Art.
