Food by Design: Sustaining the Future

Feeding ourselves engages a massive infrastructure, advanced technologies, and dynamic systems that touch on just about every aspect of the world we live in. Creating sustainable, environmentally-friendly, and efficient systems to produce adequate healthy food for the world presents a wide variety of design challenges.

Curated by MODA, this exhibition will look at cutting-edge developments in food production, asking how the farm of the future operates, how worldwide food distribution can be made more equitable, how we might design systems that induce consumers to privilege healthy food choices, and other important questions. The exhibition will highlight work being done in Atlanta and beyond and will engage with Atlanta’s rich foodie culture.
