“Small World” is Nikon’s annual photo-micrography competition of images showcasing the beauty and complexity of life as seen through a microscope. The top 20 images, on an amazing range of subjects, are included in the exhibition.
This year’s first place winner is Australian high school teacher and self-taught photo-micrographer Ralph Grimm, for his incredible close-up image of a bee eye covered in dandelion pollen grains.
