Journeys through Light & Dark: dolls as tellers of stories

Dolls carry stories. It may be a literal interpretation of a famous tale or a private story revealed only to the observer, a message delivered through the spirit of the doll. Either way, dolls lead the artist and witnesses on a personal journey touching emotions such as joy, hope sorrow and despair. Original artist dolls in all media, including cloth, paper, and polymer, metal, wood and combinations of innovative materials. 

 Artists create an original interpretation of the power of the doll as an instrument to tell a story and convey emotion.
