The Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College serves as a unique educational resource for the diverse audiences of the college and the community through the exhibition, interpretation, collection, and preservation of works in all media of the visual arts.

VPAM provides an environment to encounter a range of aesthetic expressions that illuminate the depth and diversity of artwork produced by people of the world, both contemporary and past.

ELAC is one of the very few community colleges in the U.S. with a major art collection of more than 9,000 objects from many time periods and many parts of the world. Since 2011 ELAC has had an impressive facility to house the museum and its collection. The museum houses seven art galleries which can accommodate temporary rotating exhibitions, student shows, permanent collection shows, and artist and community projects
