Featuring more than 45 paintings by Minerva Teichert (1888-1976) from the BYU Museum of Art’s permanent collection, this exhibition will speak to the artistry and the visual testimony of the artist, as evidenced in this series of paintings depicting peoples and events of The Book of Mormon.

Whether or not you go, The Book of Mormon Paintings of Minerva Teichert presents more than forty murals and numerous sketches by Minerva Teichert. The art combines to tell in vivid detail the stories of faith and endurance from the Book of Mormon from Lehi and his journeys in the wilderness, to King Benjamin's prophetic farewell address, to Moroni's sorrow at the destruction of his people.
