The Front Door

Exhibition Website

Aug 21 2015 - May 8 2016

The Front Door is home to diverse representations of creative expression. The fruit of a number of civic engagement programs, including Youth Artists at Work, Market Street Prototyping Festival, our In-School Residencies and other community programs, have been featured as pop-up exhibitions.

The Front Door is also a space for recreation, relaxation, thought and gathering. It features a lending library, six-sided ping-pong table, bean bags and music, as well as a collection of literature inspired by our film, and performing and visual arts programs. The Front Door is a “come as you are” atmosphere, asking nothing of its visitors but an open mind. Open to the public without admission, its integrity transcends differences, barriers and cultures.

Through Spring 2016, artwork inspired by our community programs, will continue to rotate in the space. We encourage you to come by, bring a friend, or make a new one, and enjoy the many offerings of our Front Door.
