As of March, 2020, the Met Breuer is permanently closed.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's modern and contemporary art program is located in a landmark "Brutalist" building designed by Marcel Breuer [BROY-er].  The Met Breuer provides additional space to present the global breadth and historical reach of The Met's unparalleled collection of the art of the 20th- and 21st-centuries.

In addition to exhibitions, offerings at the Breuer include performances, artist commissions, residencies, and educational initiatives.
