College Print Exchange

Exhibition Website

Oct 11 2018 - Jan 5 2019

The sixth annual print exchange invited regional printmakers to respond to a theme, be part of an exhibition and an exchange of prints. Exploring the theme Home – Then and Now, printmakers used a variety of processes such as intaglio, lithography, relief, and screen print. Invited artists include current faculty and students from Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Minot State University, North Dakota State University, University of Manitoba, and Valley City State University. Each work is accompanied with a written statement by the artist found in the booklets on nearby pedestals.

What is a print exchange? Print exchanges are common practice among printmakers. Each participating artist will receive a portfolio of prints from the exhibition. Home – Then and Now is a part of Plains Art Museum’s “Printober” celebration organized by Hannaher’s, Inc. Print Studio Manager Amanda Heidt with the help of local printmaker Eric Johnson.
