Exhibition Website

Jan 15 2019 - Apr 15 2019

Drawn from the rich historic and cultural legacies of two of the world’s most venerable financial institutions, BNY Mellon’s art collection encompasses important works in a variety of media, from the 18th to 21st centuries. The contemporary collection is anchored with a broad group of works on paper – drawings, photographs and prints by 20th century icons.

FMoPA will feature 50 photographs from the collection, representing renowned photographers from various countries and generations to present an overview of photographic practice. Artists featured include Carrie Mae Weems, Wolfgang Tillmans, Elisa Sighicelli, Yasumasa Morimua, Olafure Eliasson, and many more.

The corporate art collection is intended to enhance BNY Mellon’s offices and stimulate creativity. It provides enjoyment for employees and customers, and serves to heighten their awareness of the company’s support for the arts. Thank you to BNY Mellon for generously allowing us to exhibit this culturally and historically significant collection.
