Assemble, Re-Assemble, Repeat

This multimedia piece by artists David Fobes and Mark Siprut is a sequel to their original immersive installation project Some Assembly Required that exhibited at OMA in 2015. This new hands-on interactive kiosk contains some of the original visual content solicited from the citizens and cultural institutions of Oceanside and Southern California, as well as newly developed material that combines to serve as a collective memory and self-portrait of the Oceanside community in a revealing and engaging collage indicative of the community’s zeitgeist.
