A Book of Days is a collection of works by Glasgow School of Art Fulbright Fellow Laurel McSherry, exploring material, place and time through printmaking, drawing and photography. A native of New Jersey, McSherry is Director of the Graduate Landscape Architecture Program at Virginia Tech’s Washington-Alexandria Architecture. Inspired by the natural and cultural histories of the Clyde and the Delaware River Valleys, A Book of Days engages reoccurring themes in McSherry’s award-winning design and watershed-related research, including memory, latency, sacrifice and resolve.
