Exhibition Website

Sep 25 2018 - Jan 13 2019

Photography has the power to influence the way that we see and interpret our surroundings. Showcasing photographs from the private collection of Peter Gordenstein, this exhibition will explore how renowned artists such as Berenice Abbott, Walker Evans, Paul Strand and others were inspired by the formal qualities of architecture and environment. In an era of modernity and hardship, these photographers showcased skyscrapers to shacks through an emphasis on line, angle, pattern, and composition.
