Midwest Masters highlights artists represented in the permanent collection who studied at the the experimental and important school of printmaking— Stanley William Hayter’s Atelier 17. David Driesbach and Warrington Colescott, along with Frances Myers, Mauricio Lasansky, and Dean Meeker, spent much of their artistic careers in the Midwest, producing intaglio prints imbued with activist messages, both political and social, and experimented with complex printing methods.
