Innovative Means: Photography from the Collection

Spanning almost 80 years, the 29 photographs from The Museum’s Fine Art Collection reveal a timeline of innovations in fine art photography. While advancing camera and film technologies changed mobility and speed, photographers continued to experiment with alternative methods through the lens, from the darkroom and into the age of digital media. On display October 19, 2018-February 17, 2019.
