After Documentary

What can we know from a photograph? Drawn from the art collection of Wake Forest University, the photographs in this exhibition complicate or question the legacy of documentary photography. Featuring artists Julie Moos, Barbara Kruger, and Collier Schorr. The exhibition examines photography’s relation to reality as well as its ability to create alternate realities. After Documentary was curated by students in Art 259: History of Photography at Wake Forest University, taught in Spring 2018 with Professor Morna O’Neill.
