Elevating Color: Connecting the Dots

Steven Manolis(b. 1948) paints in watercolor and acrylic, concentrating on abstract expressionism with an emphasis on color and the creation of pleasing visual dimensions. “I love beauty, I love form, I love symmetry,” he writes. “Seeing color and form and proportion is really my entire life. I paint with color and I try to do it in a pleasing, beautiful way. The subject matter of color and beauty … is the way I see the world.”
