Captain Seth Eastman’s Journeys with a Sketchbook: The Trip to San Antonio

This exhibition, the third in a series of four chronicling the journey of a West Point–trained draftsman from St. Louis to San Antonio in the late 1840s, includes some of the most famous drawings of San Antonio’s historic missions, including the Alamo, as well as an interactive digital map that allows visitors to follow Eastman’s travels.
