MOCRA: 25

MOCRA opened in 1993 as the world's first interfaith museum of contemporary art that engages the religious and spiritual dimensions. We mark a quarter-century of remarkable exhibitions and outstanding programming with an exhibition that tells the story of the museum so far through the work of 25 artists. Curated by MOCRA's founding director, Terrence Dempsey, S.J., 25 will include both essential works from the MOCRA collection and works not seen before at MOCRA. 25 will serve as a perfect introduction for people just discovering MOCRA, and an opportunity for longtime visitors to recall the exhibitions and artwork that have made MOCRA a highly regarded and cherished museum.
