This exhibition presents a selection of late twentieth-century Mayo textiles – a recent gift to the museum from collector Gloria Giffords  The Mayo, or Yoreme, are an indigenous group of people who live in southern Sonora and northern Sinaloa. Giffords collected these textiles between 1977 and 1981.
